Magnificent - Utterly Earth Shattering - The Feast Message In Genesis for Those Who Can Accept It

Monday, May 26th, 2008

By Russ Miles What better way to begin an e-zine article or e-epistle to the churches than with the beginning of God’s Holy Word, The Bible? (NKJV) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good; and God divided the light from the darkness. Oh, my gosh! Does the scripture really say that? Maybe, we should see what three other of the Biblical translations - those I use to make certain I understand what is really being said as the Word of God - is consistent? By so doing, I’ll ascertain if what my intended e-zine article is all about has merit and if it is even worth continuing. What I think I understand so far is so very profound; that it will change my reader’s and/or disciples lives forever. The last thing that we need is some guy - who claims to be An Apostle to get me believing, saying, and doing things that are not true. For such a man would surely be - “A False Apostle.” Let’s see: (NASB) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. (KJV) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness. {the light from…: Heb. between the light and between the darkness} 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. {And the evening…: Heb. And the evening was, and the morning was} (CEV) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was barren, with no form of life; it was under a roaring ocean covered with darkness. But the Spirit of God was moving over the water. 3 God said, “I command light to shine!” And light started shining. 4 God looked at the light and saw that it was good. He separated light from darkness 5 and named the light “Day” and the darkness “Night.” Evening came and then morning — that was the first day. Wow! That’s far enough! The Word is clear all right? The thought or concept that I Am wishes to convey through me - to His elect chosen - is indeed consistent. In these last days, this reality is a Magnificent Utterly Earth Shattering The Feast Message Here In Genesis for Those Who Can Accept It. Many a traditional naysayer may materialize from this e-Epistle. LOL Here it is - introduced for understanding - in the form of a question: What did God do when He wanted to “Create” something? God said, “Let there be…” Perhaps, there is something that we believers need to learn from this? God didn’t think or tell anyone “I would like to have the light turned on.” Neither did God say, “I had better pray for light - if I want light - nor I’ll just have faith, and of course - I will hope. Only then will I know if light is within My will. Goodness Me, what am I going to do if My answer is ‘No’?” Nope! God did say something to the affect, “Let there be light,” and there was light. I especially like the way this “Truth” is translated in the Contemporary English Version, (CEV) Genesis 1:3 God said, “I command light to shine!” And light started shining. There is a Magnificent - Utterly Earth Shattering The Feast Message Here In Genesis for Those Who Can Accept It: If you want something - “Say” it. “Command” it! (CEV) Deuteronomy 3:24 “Our LORD, it seems that you have just begun to show me your great power. No other god in the sky or on earth is able to do the mighty things that you do. NASB) Job 36:22 “Behold, God is exalted in His power; who is a teacher like Him? (NKJV) Mark 11:23 “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. (KJV) 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; If you want something - “Say” it. “Command” it! ~Rub-it “Another Truth Appears”~ Rascal :) RASCAL RUSS MILES IS AN APOSTLE. The Honey Do List

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

By Joanne Robbins Every person in the world at one time or another has a “honey do” list stuck to the refrigerator or lying on the counter. Every person accumulates chores and things that need to be done around the home or with automobiles. But, not everybody has a “honey” to help with the “honey do” list. What then? Are you single? Are you a single parent? Do you live in an apartment? Perhaps you are lucky if you live in an apartment where there is a custodian/handyman to take care of the stuff that happens while you go about the business of living. If the commode floods over because your toddler flushed the babys’ diaper … call the Super. When the smoke alarms are hard-wired into the ceiling and screaming while the chicken is roasting … call the Super. You are indeed a lucky person. Recently the garage door wouldn’t raise more than halfway and at the time it was about 25 below zero with wind chill and two feet of snow on the roof with ice building up on the eaves. Our telephone book is 28 pages big. There is no section for handyman or fix-it or help me. For those of us living in “harsh” conditions (small town, BIG snow, no people, no husband) I was extremely lucky to see my neighbor and invite him to look at the problem with the garage door. He even joked about the need for a “rent-a-husband” in our village. You are probably not as isolated as I am. You may even have somebody you can phone when things happen. Thank your lucky stars because you could be stuck in two feet of snow in the middle of podunk with no grocery store, with the nearest Wal Mart 28 miles to the east and Home Depot almost 42 miles north and it sure would be nice to actually be able to put a car in the garage when it is so cold outside. My most important thought now is - Thank God for Kind Neighbors. Be thankful for the small things in life - they can become very important. Joanne Robbins has published several articles on a variety of topics and has several websites. She is currently out shoveling snow. What’s More Important: an MBA or Experience?

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

By Ioan Hepes Experience is definitely one of the most important factors in a recruiting process. Actually, enough work-experience is also a requirement for all good MBA programs. The MBA is the certification that you have also learned all the important tools that are necessary for a management position. Of course, through years of experience, through self-documentation, failures and successes you might have learned what others learn during 1 or 2-year MBA programs. And, of course, one can become the CEO of a Fortune 500 company without an MBA, or even without complete studies (see Mr. Gates). In the end, it all depends on the person. For a person which is less entrepreneur and not planning to start his/her own business but to apply to a large company, I would definitely recommend doing an MBA. The HR departments get hundreds of applications a day, many of them are automatically selected by using database searches, so for certain jobs, CVs not containing “MBA” might not even pass the first recruiting step. We’re living in a global world with thousands of applications, from everywere and world ruled by technology, where people are often preselected by a computer. On the other hand, MBA without experience, is also not the ideal candidate which companies want, maybe for an entry-level management position or traineeship. So, as always, balance is the solution, but it is recommendable to first have the experience before deciding upon the strategy of an enterprise or the faith of hundreds of employees. Enjoy a Hobby In Art Collectibles

Friday, May 9th, 2008

By James Bowie Having been an avid collector of a number of different subjects for many years, I can honestly recommend collecting as a fun and very interesting hobby. Collecting, no matter what the collected subject is will be a fun and highly enjoyable hobby, and I have found that one of the more interesting items to collect is art collectibles. There are many different items to be found, which once created or painted will become a work of art in their own right. This artwork then becomes an art collectible. Art enthusiasts will collect such things as items made from animal bone, and wooden novelty items, all of which will have been hand carved or had artwork painted on. Many people have large collections of designer rugs which are seen as art. Other art collectibles are limited edition plates, thimbles, Christmas ornaments, and figurines produced by such companies as Franklin Mint. And then of course, a huge majority of art collectors are people who collect fine art paintings. People who have art collectibles as their hobby will always find their own favourite artists whose works they enjoy and appreciate. They will often choose to collect art from one particular artist, either an old master or an artist from the present; Then again, other collectors will choose to have items from the works of a number of different artists. There are of course those who will fill their collection, with art and art objects which are based on a particular theme, such as landscape paintings, animal figures, or various types of sheet music. It is not uncommon for people to think of art collectors as being very rich; they think that they may have the ability to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on, lets say an original Monet. However people who do not have huge amounts of money at their disposal can also collect art. I found that collecting postcards was a very good place to start. If you visit museums of art, you will find in their gift shops high quality items, these include glossy postcards which depict some of their art collections. If you purchase any of these cards, you will begin to really appreciate that anyone can build an art collection. A very good source of art collectibles is the online auction site ebay, no matter what type of art or collectible you wish to have. If you are just starting your collection, the choices and options available are quite overwhelming! You should also bear in mind that you can sell your own bits and pieces; this will help you to afford items for your own collection. Doing this on ebay would certainly help your budget. Other places you can find inexpensive items for your collection are, local flea markets, charity shops, and garage sales. You will be amazed at the treasures other people will be getting rid of. A good thing when it comes to art collectibles is that you can find artists in every part of the world. When you become an art collector you should visit your local art shows, museums, and local galleries. Here you will be able to find out what inexpensive talent there is close to home. Because most pieces of art have a local theme, art collectibles make excellent travel souvenirs. For instance, the artist Heather Bagnoli specializes in oil paintings of landscapes and architecture most of which are found around her home in the Thames Valley. Of course, collectors of art will be able to find a local artist almost everywhere. Having an art collectible hobby will keep you interested in your surroundings and life in general. With an art collectible hobby you will have a beautiful home filled with wonderful art masterpieces. If having beautiful and interesting things around you is something you enjoy, then you really should consider starting an art collectible hobby today. Relationships

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

By Kavit Haria Over the past few years or so, Ive had the chance to mingle and meet many successful people. Actually, many of them I have known for years and I meet them regularly, but I guess I had just taken the fact that they were successful for granted. When I realised I could learn so much from them, and see what they do to be successful, maybe I can be successful too. I ask all of them a simple question: How can I become successful like you? and the reply I always get is along the lines of How successful you are is dependent on the quality of your relationships. This has got me thinking and pondering on the topic of RELATIONSHIPS for a long time now, and people who know me well enough, have always said that they can see a change in me, when they do. And because the Law of Attraction plays a crucial role in my life, I think that if I am Deliberately Creating or attracting more of what I want then how can I maintain good relationships with people who may not appreciate what I want? How can I have what I want while at the same time allow the other person to have what they want? Especially if what we each desire something different? HARMONY If youre in a relationship (it doesnt have to be a personal one!), one of the main things you tend to look out for is harmony. In my house, if I leave things lying around, I need to take into consideration how it may affect someone else, but if its just in my room, then I dont. The only way to get what you want, while the other gets what they want to is through Clear Communication. Most disagreements come about NOT by deliberately disagreeing, but by being in DEFAULT mode and not understanding what the other person is wanting. Here are 4 steps to Crystal Clear Communication that will help maintain the intention of being in harmony. 1. Identify your desire: Become crystal clear about what you want and why you want it. 2. Effectively communicate your desire and intention to the other person. 3. Communicate segment by segment. Take time to be sure you are fully communicating and fully understood. 4. Understand your emotions and how you are feeling as this will help you tell whether you are in harmony, or not, and what to do to move towards to it. One ‘trap’ I’ve noticed is that I often think I already know how a person is going to respond to my communication–and according to Law of Attraction, if I think they are going to react strongly, they most likely will. The trick is to BELIEVE that the Universe wants to give me the desire of my heart AND maintain HARMONY in my relationships. How? Ah, that’s the fun part. The Universe has an infinite number of ways to achieve this feat…that’s half the fun…wondering and watching how it will work out. But why am I telling you this as a musician? Well, its a success secret thats really worked with me, and Ive received so much abundance in terms of prosperity, money, wealth, and much more by creating harmonious relationships where people build awareness, trust and love for each other that they work with each other in the exchange of energies. 8 Ways To Differentiate And Move Past Your Competition

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

By Charles Brown Jack Trout succinctly says, Price is often the enemy of differentiation. Unfortunately, price is also the easiest thing for lazy marketers and copywriters to brag about. The trap, of course, is that unless you have the muscle of a WalMart, you will eventually lose every price war. Competitors dont usually play dead, so they will come back and advertise even lower prices, forcing you both into a death spiral of price cutting. But differentiation, despite the fact that it requires creativity and work, allows you to side-step the price war. Here is a list of triggers I use to come up with ways to differentiate a product or service: Start by focusing on your non-price benefits. Does your product or service save money? Does it makes someones life or work easier? Does it improve how others regard that person? Single out the most beneficial benefit. Of all your benefits, which one will make the biggest positive difference in someones life? Approach your product or service from the viewpoint of your prospective customer or client. Make a very long list that begins with the words, This widget is for the person who wants ____. Now make a companion list that is about, This widget is for the person who does not want ____. Dont worry if both your want and your dont want lists overlap. It is OK if some items on your lists are mirror images of each other. You never know whether the positive want or the negative dont want version will resonate with your buyers. In fact, some customers will connect with one and others will connect with the other, so dont close any doors. Make another list of every problem your product or service solves. View what you offer as the solution to someones problem. Everything that has ever been written on the subject of business success can be summed up with the words of J. Paul Getty, Find a need and fill it. What is your market crying out for? What needs are not being filled by your competitors already? Dont claim to be the best, the most experienced, or even that youve been in business since 1776. These things dont differentiate since everyone claims to be the best in some way. Your message will just get lost in all the noise. But you can specifically explain WHY you are the best, if you can give examples and evidence without using the word best or any similar words. For example, if you are working on a copywriting assignment for a hotel chain, explain in detail the step-by-step process your staff follows to make sure every room is immaculately clean. Contrast this to the steps your competitors take. Now you are saying your rooms are the cleanest without using those words. Follow the copywriters Golden Rule: Dont tell them, SHOW them. Ask questions. As anyone who has ever been watching TV and had a small child come up and ask a question can verify, questions have the ability to interrupt our thoughts and pull them in a different direction. Brainstorm as many questions you can pose directly to readers in your ads, website or sales letters that will single out your most exceptional benefits. Here are some examples: How long are you going to wait until you move into your dream home? Or, What can you do right now to help your child get better grades in school? Havent you settled for second-class service long enough? It takes hard work to differentiate your product or service, but the rewards can be great. When you are unique and different (in a good way) the market pays attention to you. You cant win the game of competing on price. At least not for long. But you can win if you stand for something no one else stands for. Differentiation is a winning game. COPYRIGHT(C)2006, Charles Brown. All rights reserved.
